Building the wood countertop out of two or more different wood species is a common way to customize the work for a one of the kind final product. The wood species chosen are usually strongly contrasting color-wise and this contrast is used to create a certain pattern, delineate a border or add other similar visual effects. The wood is versatile material and the number of patterns or the combinations of wood species is limited only by one’s imagination.
