With its roots in the European woodworking tradition, Lafor Wood Products supplies high-quality wood countertops and butcherblocks since 2001. From residential countertops and table tops to commercial culinary tops and industrial worktops, our individually crafted products are found where beauty meets functionality. We generally follow the traditional style of edge-glued boards and so we usually don’t do single-slab or live edge except for small additions or accents to our classic wood island tops and bar tops. We also manufacture custom-sized solid wood floating shelves and stair treads.

We build edge-grain, wide-plank and end-grain configurations to match your design and performance needs. Our CNC equipment enables precision sink cutouts, edge profiles and custom shapes, while finishing options range from food-safe oils and hard wax to polyurethane coatings for higher traffic applications.
How We Work
Lafor supports both wholesale production and custom projects. Send us your drawings or dimensions and our team will advise on species selection, construction type, thickness and finishing to balance aesthetics, budget and lead time. Every order is inspected prior to shipping for a ready-to-install experience on site.
Sustainability & Quality
We believe in responsible manufacturing. Our hardwoods are available with FSC-certified options, and off-cuts are minimized through careful yield planning. Surfaces are sanded and sealed to highlight natural grain while protecting against everyday use in the kitchen environment.
